As a photographer, I work with some of the most incredibly amazing couples and Mothers to be. It is truly amazing to capture the most important moments in my clients life’s. Oftentimes I get to be their photographer for Life.
Starting with Engagements, Bridals, first look and with their Elopement or wedding. Then the next chapter is the Maternity session, then newborn and then their growing family, and so much more.
Not only am I always honored to be chosen, but capturing these once in a lifetime moments are something I will always hold near to my heart.
If you're family is growing and you're trying to plan when to take maternity photos, you're in the right spot!
Throughout your early pregnancy you are probably experiencing nausea, exhaustion and just plain trying to survive.
Once you enter the second trimester, between weeks 12 and 20, consider reaching out to me to schedule your maternity session.
Generally you'll want to schedule your maternity photos between months 7 and 8, or 32-36 weeks.
Usually around the last month your body might began to feel a little uncomfortable and so definitely plan your shoot before that last month is key!

It is also a great idea to have at least two dresses/outfits to switch into during your maternity session. You're only pregnant once or possibly few times in life, and this little life you're bringing into the world should be celebrated - and so should you! Your body is doing incredible things, and the sacrifices you're making are selfless and so beautiful. What if you're expecting multiples? If you're expecting multiples, your pregnancy is on a little bit different timeline. Oftentimes my multiples Moms opt for earlier maternity photos. They are showing earlier, and usually deliver earlier. Reach out to me to discuss your pregnancy and how we can best accommodate your growing bump!
